PROJECT CERTIFICATION
Any party may apply to initiate a project to improve/maintain Urban Green Infrastructure and to generate UBCs using the Standard. The implementation of a project includes the following steps and process.
Scope of action definition
(Urban, peri-urban or rural)
Calculation of the Baseline of the scope of action
(Stock and Ecosystem Services)
Identifications of areas of opportunity
(Plots, vacants lots, medians, roundabouts, etc.)
Development of a preliminary project
(Improvement of GI, New GI, Maintenance of GI)
Calculation of the increment
(Stock and Ecosystem Services)
